This SSL technology significantly lowers energy consumption and can reduce maintenance costs in marine, signage, industrial or transportation applications. Unlike traditional lighting, SSL creates visible light with reduced heat generation or parasitic energy dissipation providing greater manufacturing flexibility and customization. In addition, the solid-state nature of SLL provides for greater resistance to shock, vibration, and wear, thereby increasing its lifespan significantly.
