Bowl Fixture

Project Overview:

In 2007 Millerbernd Lighting’s representative, Hossley Lighting, was contacted by a local architect with a unique lighting challenge. Millerbernd was asked to create a unique, weather-proof, decorative bowl light fixture with an efficient light source on top of a stone column. The client provided us with a rendering sketch of the decorative bowl fixture mounted on top of a stone pillar along with the specifications based on the architectural requirements.

Project Solution:

Millerbernd Lighting delivered a detailed proposal drawing and solution using induction lighting, placed inside a custom aluminum bowl with an acrylic dome that was sealed from the elements.

The proposal was accepted and then incorporated into the project plans and specifications. Millerbernd’s custom solution exceeded the design and architectural requirements, including delivering a cost-effective light source with maximum visual appeal.
